Fans of the Cotswolds’ luxury scene could soon have a new retreat to choose from, as high-end cabin brand CABÜ prepares to open a £24 million resort just a short drive from Soho Farmhouse.Opening next year, the luxury cabin resort will bring its blend of stylish accommodation and countryside escapes to the rolling hills and green landscapes of the popular English destination.CABÜ already has retreats in Kent and Ireland, with its third location set to join the growing collection of luxury stays attracting visitors to the Cotswolds.The new resort will be located in Langley, Oxfordshire, around a 30-minute drive from Soho Farmhouse.While the £24 million development is still under construction, images reveal what guests can expect from the upscale countryside escape.The resort will feature 50 Scandinavian-inspired timber cabins, combining CABÜ’s signature modern aesthetic with a contemporary Cotswolds design. CABÜ in the Cotswolds is set to open up in Oxfordshire in 2027 The Scandi-style luxury resort will boast an indoor pool, along with spa facilitiesAmong the facilities will be an indoor swimming pool, spa, hot tubs, saunas and a social space.CABÜ’s website explains: ‘Experience luxury Cotswolds cabins designed for relaxing countryside escapes in the heart of an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. ‘CABÜ in the Cotswolds is underway, transforming a former engineering site in Langley, Oxfordshire, into a unique retreat featuring eco-conscious timber cabins, wellness facilities and carefully designed social spaces.’The site in Langley – a former engineering complex – is an ideal location from which to enjoy the countryside, chocolate-box villages and nearby independent shops and pubs.What about the price tag to match the glamorous offering?CABÜ has not yet released the official rates for the Cotswolds site.With a two-night minimum stay, the price could start from £425 in October, as in the Kent location – or even as much as £895, the price of a two-bedroom beach house at the existing site. The site in Langley is based on a former engineering complex, but will soon be filled with timber cabins to bookUnderstandably, fans of the luxury brand will be eagerly anticipating its opening – and if reviews of the two current resorts, CABÜ by the Sea and CABÜ by the Lakes, are anything to go by, the new addition will be booked up months in advance.Of the lake property, one guest this summer wrote: ‘Just back from a short two-night stay at CABÜ and it was one of the best breaks we’ve ever had. ‘We were a family of two adults and two teens and stayed in a boathouse. We did paddle boarding, took the bikes and boats out. We were blessed with beautiful weather but we’re already planning to come back in the colder months.’A second wrote this year: ‘I’m a little late writing this review as we stayed last December. It was a birthday gift for my partner, and if I’m honest, I think I’ve delayed leaving a review because I’ve been selfishly gatekeeping this little gem of a retreat.’From the moment we arrived, we loved every second of our stay. The cabin was stunning – cosy, beautifully decorated and so thoughtfully designed. ‘The bath in the bedroom, the Foxford blankets and the warm stove made it the perfect place to spend cold winter evenings.’ Like its competitor Soho Farmhouse, the establishment will be a taste of luxury in the countrysideAs for the seaside establishment, one guest said: ‘Absolute gem! A really unique place it’s hard to know where to start. ‘Sea front, heated pool, bike hire, spa and loved the communal vibe.’It’s also designed with families in mind, with one visitor saying: ‘First of all there is lots of space to roam for children. ‘It reminds me of the childhood freedom I used to have – making friends, driving around in little go karts, toasting marshmallows, swimming all day long, wandering to the shop to pick up breakfast cereal, looking for seashells on the beach… my kids want to move to CABÜ permanently.’
