Passengers boarding flights this summer might find themselves travelling alongside more than just their fellow travellers, according to one psychic medium. Chloe Smith, 29, from the East Midlands, says ghost tourists often hop on board planes and trains – and their presence can frequently be felt by the coast too. The medium has, she says, always had the ability to ‘sense things were about to happen before they actually happened’, she tells the Daily Mail. She started ‘sensing more and connecting with spirits’ when her grandmother passed away, and Chloe now regularly does readings for others and shares the experiences on her social media @ChloeMediumship.Chloe explains that most people associate ghosts with derelict houses and historical sites, but that they’re often actually in more everyday settings too.Spirits may travel on an aircraft, for example, in response to the energy they feel from other passengers to protect them, or they might simply have once worked on a plane and want to go back there. She claims spirits can travel on planes, as well as other modes of transport and has even connected with ghosts when jetting off abroad before Chloe Smith, 29, is a psychic medium based in the East MidlandsSpirits are on board because they ‘choose to accompany the people or the environment inside the plane’.’Our loved ones can travel and when we are feeling anxious they might be there to protect us. ‘Or maybe they worked on an aircraft for so many years they even miss it when they are passed over.’The medium describes planes as ‘spaces of intense repetition’ where ghosts may ‘imprint’.’The same routines, the same safety briefings, and the same heightened emotions – this creates a residual energy, like a loop of psychic film tape playing over and over again,’ Chloe adds. The ‘veil’ that stands between this life and the next, according to Chloe, and it ‘gets even thinner’ as we get closer to the clouds. She has connected with ghosts on planes and recalls how she once had a ‘pounding headache’ and couldn’t open her eyes. The medium explains how spirits use her ‘body physically’ to show her how they passed away. Aircrafts are ‘spaces of intense repetition’ where ghosts may ‘imprint’, according to the mediumIn this instance, when she asked the ghost to leave her body, she ‘went straight back to normal’.Chloe says: ‘I turned behind me to ask the lady if she had lost a man from a brain aneurysm and she said yes!’The next time you go for a stroll along the beach, there might be more people around you than you can see with your eyes too. Aside from hanging around at 30,000ft, ghosts are also particularly fond of the coast, the medium claims.’The sea is one of the most powerful spiritual environments on Earth,’ Chloe says. ‘It makes the veil between the physical world and spiritual world thinner, making it easier for you to connect with your loved ones.’According to the psychic, water is able to conduct ‘consciousness and emotion’, which is helpful for spirits as they ‘no longer possess a dense, physical body’.Instead, ‘they operate purely as a frequency of energy’, according to Chloe. ‘When you sit by the sea, the sound of the waves follows a steady, pulsing rhythm,’ she explains. ‘This rhythm naturally matches a relaxed human heartbeat and acts as a bridge.’ By the sea is ‘one of the most powerful spiritual environments on Earth’When a ghost matches a living human’s frequency they’re able to tune in like a radio, the medium says. For Chloe, she finds the sea particularly relaxing and she often connects with her Nan and childhood dog there. Ghosts can apparently take other modes of transport too, and could even be on the Tube.In one of Chloe’s videos, she shares a clip of an empty seat in a carriage and claims: ‘No joke there is a dead man sat opposite me.”They could be commuting to work or being with their loved one on a tough day, the same as when on the plane,’ the medium explains. When out and about travelling, Chloe takes certain items with her to help when she connects with spirits. ‘My scribble pad comes with me everywhere,’ she says. ‘If I feel the need to connect or let go of tension I scribble!’She also brings her ’empath bracelet’ which helps to shield her from ‘everyone else’s emotions’. Medium Chloe often connects to her late Nan and childhood dog at the coastWhen travelling and visiting new places, Chloe admits she ‘always feels drawn to tourist attractions’.But there’s one spot in particular that has a strong feeling for the medium – the Tower of London. The site ‘holds a lot of history, feeling and spirit’, she says. So, if you feel the hairs on the back of your neck stand up the next time you’re visiting the Tower of London during a weekend away to the capital… now you know why!
