Wolves striker Tolu Arokodare is joining Ajax on loan with a view to a £17million permanent deal.Ajax have to cover his salary in full on top of a £1m loan fee and have agreed further bonuses if they qualify for European competitions.Last week, Arokodare forced the cancellation of a Wolves training session after he refused to leave the pitch.Wolves had rejected a bid from Fiorentina while Trabzonspor had also made an offer but the forward was reluctant to make that move.Arokodare denied that he refused to train, but he is understood to have put himself into a training session which he was not due to be involved in.The striker was not involved in last Wednesday’s friendly at Maidenhead United after the incident. Tolu Arokodare trains in Portugal just over a week agoAfterwards, on social media Arokodare wrote: ‘Throughout my career, I have always taken great pride in conducting myself professionally and maintaining the highest training standards.’My commitment has always been to prepare myself as well as possible so that I can contribute to my team-mates and the club whenever I am called upon.’I remain under contract with Wolves, and my only intention is to fulfil my responsibilities professionally by training, doing my job, and contributing to the team in accordance with that contract.’
