Is Simone Biles returning to gymnastics for the 2028 Summer Games in Los Angeles?As seen on her Instagram page, Biles was back at Houston’s World Champions Center, where she trained for years en route to seven Olympic gold medals.’Whew, okay, I’m at the gym,’ Biles said in the video as an ‘old girl, same tricks’ graphic appeared at the top of the frame. ‘I’m just playing around to see if I’ve still got it.’From there, Biles did a number of flips off a trampoline into a foam pit filled with soft polyurethane cubes. And although she wasn’t concerned with proper landings, Biles’ launches clearly required a significant effort for the 29-year-old Olympic legend.At one point, an exhausted Biles looked back at her videographer, who asked if she was OK.’No, it feels like I just did a floor routine,’ Biles said. I can’t breathe, so I’m leaving.’And in case her physical exertion wasn’t already clear, Biles captioned the video: ‘scheduling a massage ASAP.’Biles has not competed since the Paris Summer Games in 2024 when she won three gold medals and a silver, taking her Olympics tally to 11.Yet, she sparked some comeback talk last month with a series of photos posted on social media.The first snap was taken inside the World Champions Center, the Texas gym owned by her parents, Ron and Nellie Biles, where she developed into the world’s top gymnast.
