Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes spent part of his final week before the start of NFL season celebrating his wife’s birthday.Patrick and wife Brittany Mahomes were spotted at The Sphere in Las Vegas while attending a Backstreet Boys show to celebrate her 31st birthday.The two even sported Backstreet Boys varsity jackets for the ‘Into the Millennium’ residency.Brittany, whose birthday was on Sunday, shared a gallery of images on Instagram which included snaps of her husband and their friends, including former Chiefs tight end Blake Bell and his wife, Lyndsay.Images included snaps of a shared suite at the Wynn, which was covered in golf balloons and featured a lit-up sign that read ‘Happy Birthday.’Additionally, there was a three-tier cake which included a photo of the Mahomes’ three children: Sterling, five; Patrick ‘Bronze’ Lavon III, three; and Golden Raye, 19 months. Love you Forever.’The Chiefs quarterback is coming off a torn ACL in late December that led to concerns he would miss most of the season.However, his rehab process has gone much better than expected and he could start in Week 1 for the Chiefs.The two-time MVP has been participating in training camp all summer long and could take the field against the Denver Broncos if coach Andy Reid gives him the green light. But that call has not yet been made.’He’s doing great,’ Reid said late last month, per the Kansas City Star. ‘We’ll just see. I’m literally taking it day by day.’There are no predictions here on anything. But if the doctors and the trainers and everybody that are involved with this give him an OK — and then most of all, if he feels like he can, then we’ll address that when we get there.’But other than that, these other guys are playing quarterback and doing a nice job with it.’
