Tottenham Hotspur and Brazil attacker Richarlison revelled in Argentina’s World Cup defeat – sliding across the floor as Ferran Torres scored in extra-time to crown Spain champions. Argentina – who have won the tournament three times – hoped to go within one World Cup of their South American neighbours, Brazil, in New York on Sunday. But the 2022 winners fell short of becoming the third team to lift the trophy back-to-back, failing to register a shot on target against Spain.  Richarlison, who was not selected for Brazil’s World Cup squad, showed no mercy in celebrating Argentina’s downfall as his partner, Amanda Araujo, posted a video on Instagram of him celebrating excessively.The striker slid along his living room floor as Torres struck the back of the net before getting back onto his feet and leaping in the air. Richarlison has long been known for his taunting antics, with his pigeon celebration particularly getting the backs up of rival fans.
