A dead man was found hanging in the proximity of Dodger Stadium while the team played a home MLB game, according to a report. The man was found hanging from a bridge just off Bernard Street and Stadium Way, which is just a few hundred yards away from the ballpark, the LAPD told the California Post. The unidentified male was discovered at around 8:48pm local time on Wednesday. The Los Angeles Dodgers faced the St. Louis Cardinals at the stadium on the same evening with the game beginning at 7:10pm and concluding at around 10:10pm. Officers are said to have responded to the scene after receiving a 911 call from a witness who said they saw a dead body ‘in plain sight.’An LAPD spokesperson told the Post that no foul play was suspected. An investigation is still underway. The matter is still ‘pending identification and legal next of kin,’ the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner added.
