Aryna Sabalenka sarcastically thanked critics for their advice after responding to comments she cared ‘more about TikTok than tennis’ as she holidayed in Mykonos after her Wimbledon exit.The World No 1 saw her Wimbledon campaign end with a last-16 defeat to Naomi Osaka last week, losing 6-2 7-6 on Centre Court.It marked Sabalenka’s earliest defeat in a Grand Slam since the 2022 French Open, as well as her first straight sets loss at a major in 122 matches.The defeat saw the four-time Grand Slam champion’s wait for singles glory at SW19 stretch into another year.’I f***ed it up this year. Next year I’ll try to do better,’ she told reporters, later adding that her plan was to ‘get completely drunk, forget about tennis, and try to get in better shape’. The 28-year-old has since headed on holiday with her fiancé Georgios Frangulis and friends, with the star sharing social media updates from the Greek island Mykonos.
