Tennis legend Serena Williams has been immortalised as a Barbie which honours her triumph at the 2005 Australian Open. The Barbie, which will cost $45 (£34), depicts Williams in the outfit she wore throughout her run to the title in Melbourne.Williams wore a green and white top with a unique cutout and mesh details, which was paired with a white skirt.The Barbie is completed by a matching sweatband and racket, as well as tennis shoes and a ball.The Barbie has been released ahead of the International Day of the Girl this week.Williams saved match points in the semi-finals of the tournament against Maria Sharapova to eventually win 2-6, 7-5, 8-6, before going on to beat Lindsay Davenport 2-6, 6-3, 6-0 in the final.
