Strictly’s Nikita Kuzmin’s girlfriend Lauren Jaine has suffered horrific second degree burns across her stomach and legs after spilling a hot chocolate while on a plane. The model took to TikTok over the weekend as she revealed the extent of her injuries while redoing her bandages. The couple were on the plane on the way back from their holiday in Italy when Lauren ordered a hot chocolate on the flight. After joking that Nikita nudged her, she explained she doesn’t know what happened but the hot drink spilled all over her and when the plane landed the paramedics were called. She told fans: ‘I am gonna do a story time about how I got second degree burns all over my stomach and my legs while I redo my bandages. She continued: ‘And then I had to run to the bathroom whilst I was burning and I don’t think you really knew what was going on. ‘And the air hostesses were giving me ice and burn creams and everything, and then when we landed, the pilot made this super embarrassing announcement where he basically said, “Everyone, stay on the plane. The paramedics coming,” which is super embarrassing.’After applying antiseptic cream and wound gauze as she changed her dressing, Lauren pleaded with viewers to give her any tips as she shared her fears the burn will scar. ‘If anyone has had a scald before, please let me know what you did to like help scarring because I’m so worried I’m gonna have a massive scar here, which is not ideal. ‘So if anyone has any tips or like lotions or special things I can put on this to help it heal the best, that would be amazing.’Nikita confirmed his romance with Lauren in October 2023 by sharing a series of loved-up snaps on his Instagram.
