While doors may have opened in the showbiz world, Fern Britton has revealed how all four of her children have shunned fame to pursue normal careers. The former This Morning presenter, 69, revealed that despite her contacts, none of her kids wanted to follow in her footsteps. They instead have become a builder, teacher and trainee nurse, and one of her sons has gone into the field of psychology. Expressing how they had no desire to be nepo babies, Fern said: ‘My elder daughter said to me when she was quite young, “I don’t want to be offensive, but your job is really boring, isn’t it.”‘ Fern is mother to twin sons, Jack and Harry, 32, and daughter Grace, 28, from her first marriage to TV executive Clive Jones, as well as Winnie, 24, who she shares with ex-husband celebrity chef Phil Vickery. In an interview in Hello! she once said: ‘My daughter Grace is nursing in an emergency unit. I can’t believe how brilliant she is; I’m so proud of her.
