Before accepting his Lifetime Achievement Award on Wednesday, George Clooney enjoyed a romantic date night with his wife Amal at their Venice wedding venue.Amal, 48, was dressed for the occasion in a bridal white dress, reminiscent of a Giambattista Valli fringed dress she wore a year ago in the city, for dinner with her husband, 65, at the seven-star Aman Venice hotel.The human rights lawyer beamed as she and George emerged from the hotel to catch a water taxi.George also dressed up on the eve of his Lifetime Achievement Award, sporting a dapper grey suit. Located on the canal front and offering glorious views across the city, the Aman Venice hotel was the setting for the Clooneys’ star-studded wedding 12 years ago.The hotel opened in the 450-year-old Palazzo Papadopoli in 2013 and offers rooms ranging in price from £1,000 to £3,200 a night.
