Jude Bellingham led a cohort of Real Madrid stars in attending the Spanish Grand Prix in the capital, as he declared his support for Mercedes drivers.Bellingham was joined by his brother Jobe – whose Borussia Dortmund team won 3-0 on Saturday – as Madrid hosted a Formula One race for the first time since 1981.The brothers were seen in the McLaren garage ahead of the race, while they also stopped off with their rivals Mercedes.Bellingham was seen embracing drivers’ championship leader Kimi Antonelli and George Russell, with Real Madrid players and drivers exchanging signed shirts.Fede Valverde, Vinicius Jnr, Rodrygo and Trent Alexander-Arnold were also among the current Real Madrid stars present. The trip followed Real Madrid earning a 4-1 victory over Rayo Vallecano on Saturday night, with Bellingham among the scorers for Jose Mourinho’s side. Mourinho was seen in dicussion with Spanish tennis legend Rafael Nadal at the Grand Prix Real Madrid great Roberto Carlos spoke to Fernando Alonso in the Aston Martin garageMourinho’s interview with Sky Sports’ grid reporter Martin Brundle was abruptly halted in an awkward moment for the broadcaster.Brundle had seconds left of his customary segment, and had to cut off the interview after just a brief exchange, when the national anthem began playing with the drivers assembled and Mourinho mid-sentence.Mourinho was earlier collared by another Sky Sports reporter trackside where he was asked about whether Bellingham could one day be considered England’s greatest player.’Very special,’ Mourinho replied. ‘Not a bit special, very special.’Mourinho, however, offered no prediction when asked about how his former club Man United and coach Michael Carrick will get on in Sunday’s Manchester derby. ‘He’s doing well Michael, doing well, I’m happy with that,’ Mourinho said.Mourinho was also pictured in conversation with legendary Spanish tennis star Rafael Nadal at the Grand Prix.Former Real Madrid greats Roberto Carlos and Steve McManaman were also among the sporting icons present.
