It’s that time of the year again – the transfer window is now open until September 1 and it’s sure to be a busy period with clubs looking to make big signings ahead of next season.Here are today’s latest developments from Simon Jones and the Daily Mail Sport team… Inter will go to £30m for Jones pursuit Inter Milan have intimated they are willing to pay £30million for Liverpool midfielder Curtis Jones.Notice was given via intermediaries but Liverpool maintain the 25-year-old, who has one year left on contract, is valued at a minimum £35m. They dismissed Inter’s last offer of £21.75m.The 25-year-old has cut a frustrated figure in recent months and has wanted more regular game time. He has one year left on his contract and Liverpool say they are relaxed about his situation.The Italian club were interested in January and proposed a loan with a view to a permanent move but that was also turned down by Liverpool. Inter Milan are continuing to chase Curtis Jones but are yet to meet Liverpool’s valuationPiero Ausilio, Inter’s sporting director, confirmed he was still on their radar earlier this summer, saying: ‘Curtis Jones – we are paying attention to him. We didn’t hide.
