Manchester United have announced the signing of Brighton midfielder Carlos Baleba in a £70million deal.Baleba has signed a five-year-contract at Old Trafford with the option to extend it by 12 months after agreeing personal terms and passing a medical. United will pay an initial £65m and up to £5m more in add-ons to Brighton who have included a sell-on clause as part of the deal.The 22-year-old Cameroon international, who is currently sidelined with an ankle injury, becomes United’s third midfield signing of the summer after the club spent a total of £85m on Andrey Santos and Youri Tielemans.Baleba, who has been linked with United for more than a year, said: ‘It is an incredible feeling to join the club of my dreams.
