Dominik Szoboszlai is closing in on signing a bumper, long-term deal at Liverpool.The Hungary captain was the Reds’ shining light in a disappointing campaign last term and had been locked in discussions with the club for some time over rewarding his progress.Szoboszlai was always eager to commit his long-term future to Anfield and now looks set to do so.The midfielder joined from RB Leipzig in summer 2023 and played a big role in Liverpool’s title win in 2023-24.Nothing is signed yet but a formal conclusion is expected to soon follow, with Szoboszlai set to fly out to the United States with the rest of Liverpool’s group on Monday.
