Liverpool have made a dramatic move to sign Victor Munoz from Osasuna for his £34.6million buyout clause.They have hijacked Newcastle United’s deal for the Spain winger after negotiations became drawn out.Though Newcastle had stepped up talks, Osasuna had been waiting for the right structure and Liverpool have now stepped in to agree terms for the former Barcelona and Real Madrid graduate.A percentage of the fee is due to Real Madrid.The contract is in place until 2032 with Liverpool expected to confirm in the next few days.Leverkusen and Roma were also around the deal but Newcastle were growing confident that they had a deal in principle and that it would be finalised this week.
