Lamine Yamal’s dad’ ‘almost smashes Russian blogger’s phone’ in bizarre row on streets of London after his Spain star son, 19, lost Ballon d’Or vote to Harry Kane – before Andriy Arshavin steps in!

Lamine Yamal’s dad was embroiled in a bizarre spat with a Russian football blogger who attempted to speak to him outside of the Ballon d’Or awards on Monday.Footage from content creator Seva Kryseva appeared to show him approaching Mounir Nasraoui, father of Barcelona sensation Yamal, while he was having a cigarette following the award ceremony in London.Seemingly angry with the unsolicited approach, Nasraoui appeared to swipe at Kryseva’s phone, causing him to back away. The blogger then received a talking to from former Arsenal star Andrey Arshavin, who defended Nasraoui’s actions.  Kryseva pleaded his innocence, insisting that Yamal’s father was out of line, saying: ‘Yamal’s dad almost smashed my iPhone!’ to which Arshavin quickly responded: ‘He should’ve smashed your face in instead, Seva.’Arshavin went on to say: ‘Why are you bothering people? They lost—well, actually won the Little Ballon d’Or.’ Before explaining that he himself had congratulated Nasraoui on his son’s achievement earlier. Kryseva tried to explain to Arshavin that he was only trying to do the same but said that: ‘He was in a different mood. He was drunk, what do you expect?’ The former Arsenal winger was not impressed by this excuse saying, ‘you were bothering him with your phone.’ Yamal and his father might’ve been expecting to take the Ballon d’Or back to Spain but had to settle for a third Kopa Trophy in as many years Yamal’s father appeared to snatch the smack the blogger’s phone out of his hand while being recordedThis all occurred after Yamal was awarded the Kopa Trophy, or as Arshavin calls it, the little Ballon d’Or, for best under-21 player in the world for the third year running. But Yamal and his father might have been expecting the ultimate personal accolade to fall into the 19-year-old’s hands after a stellar season that saw Yamal win a World Cup and LaLiga. To exacerbate matters, at last year’s awards in Paris, Yamal’s father had already expressed his disappointment in his son not being awarded the Ballon d’or, claiming that he was the ‘best player in the world by far.’ After the 2025 awards Nasraoui went on to say: ‘I wouldn’t say it was theft,’ he said, ‘but rather moral harm to a human being.’  Yamal’s uncle Abdul fiercely defended his nephew on Cadena SER after he missed out on the Ballon d’Or’Because I believe Lamine Yamal is the best player in the world. By far, by far. Not because he’s my son, but because he’s the best player in the world. He has no rival. He’s Lamine Yamal.’Something very strange happened here. Next year, he’ll be the Spanish Ballon d’Or winner.’ And this year it was Yamal’s uncle, Abdul, who suggested the award should have gone to the Barcelona winger in an interview with Cadena SER, in which he said: ‘My nephew was fantastic, he was the best player in the world. Everyone knows it. If you love football, you go to see Lamine, not Harry Kane. ‘Lamine has won a World Cup, La Liga, and the Super Cup. He plays very well. He’s had an incredible season. He scores goals that no one else scores. Passes, assists, he has it all. He’ll win five Ballon d’Or awards.’
