Edinson Cavani has reportedly agreed to tear up his contract with Argentinian giants Boca Juniors – but wants to keep playing aged 39.The striker follows fellow former Manchester United star Ander Herrera out the door after he left earlier this month.Cavani, who was at Old Trafford between 2020 and 2022, joined Boca in 2023 and scored 28 goals in 81 games.He intends to keep playing but will also balance that with helping to run his award-winning premium wine brand, Cavani Wines, which launched in 2024. However, his repeated injuries are a major factor in him and his club agreeing to part ways without compensation, according to Ole. He has only been able to play two matches all season, scoring in neither, due to lumbago and a herniated disc issue.
