The man from Walton, who pleaded guilty to Section 39 assault at Sefton Magistrates Court, was ordered to complete 140 hours of unpaid work and pay £750 compensation to his victim, who suffered a series of minor injuries. He must also pay £400 in costs and a £114 victim surcharge.
