Former Rams receiver Stedman Bailey has been charged by police after allegedly having drunken sex in a South Florida mall, reports claim.Bailey, who played three seasons for the St. Louis Rams, is facing a first-degree misdemeanor charge of exposure of sexual organs.The alleged incident took place at the Round1 arcade, with surveillance video said to show Bailey and Karina Manderson ‘actively engaged in sexual activity’ while other customers drank nearby around 12:30am on July 27.Now, according to TMZ, Bailey has officially been charged by police in Broward County, Florida. Prosecutors claim the 35-year-old ex-NFL star ‘pulled down his clothing to engage and/or was actively engaging in contact of a sexual nature’ in public. If convicted, Bailey could be jailed for up to a year and face a $1,000 fine. But TMZ reports that the ex-wide receiver intends to fight to clear his name. Bailey, it’s claimed, admitted having his pants down but insists he did not have sex with Manderson. According to police, the footage – shared by the Round1 bar manager – showed Manderson ‘leaned over at the waist’ while Bailey, 35, stood behind her. In response, they left the bar area, according to the affidavit.Bailey and Manderson blamed the incident on alcohol consumption, telling officers they had been taking shots at the bar, according to the affidavit. Manderson couldn’t remember the incident, but Bailey admitted ‘they both had their pants down.’Bailey and Manderson were both released from Broward County Jail after posting bail, according to public records.The incident comes a decade after Bailey was shot multiple times while sitting in a car with family members in Miami Gardens. Two of the bullets struck him in the head.
