ESPN College Football host Alyssa Lang has revealed she suffered a nasty concussion after being involved in a ‘scary’ car accident this week.Lang was rewarded with a prominent role in ESPN’s college football coverage this offseason but was noticeably off air on both Friday and Saturday during the busy slate, leading concerned fans to reach out.But she took to X on Saturday to clarify why she was absent, posting: ‘I was involved in a scary accident late Thursday night when someone slammed into my car while driving on the highway.’Thankfully, I was very lucky – walked away with just some bruises and a concussion. Resting this weekend so that I can be back soon.’Will use this as a reminder for folks to please drive safely and pay attention, because things can change in an instant.’Lang joined ESPN in 2018 and quickly became an important part of the network’s SEC coverage. She also now hosts the studio wrap-around shows on Friday and Saturday nights.
