The five Swans players at the centre of a police investigation into an alleged sexual assault are rumoured to be returning to the club this week.The Swans suspended Isaac Heeney, Chad Warner, Nick Blakey, James Jordon and Riley Bice following a night partying at the Pullman East Melbourne after the team’s win against Essendon in Round 23.Victoria Police are investigating allegations a sexual assault occurred in a room of the hotel in the early hours of August 17.It’s understood officers have spoken to Heeney, Warner, Blakey and Jordon, while Bice is being treated as a witness.The players’ suspension from the club was separate from the investigation and the result of a breach of club standards.No charges have been laid and Daily Mail does not suggest any wrongdoing, only that there is a police investigation.
