Arsenal hold an interest in Aston Villa and England defender Ezri Konsa. The Premier League champions know Villa need to sell players this summer. They are reluctant to lose their main man Morgan Rogers, who is also firmly on Arsenal’s radar, but would consider bids for others.Konsa has been discussed as a possible addition for Arsenal’s squad owing to his ability to play centre back and fill in at right back.He has two years left on contract and Arsenal believe he could be prised away for around £35million but talks have yet to take place. Villa value him considerably higher.Arsenal are also monitoring William Saliba’s long-term fitness amid concerns over a back problem, which could result in investment in the position. Villa signed Konsa from Brentford for £12m in 2019 and he has established himself as one of the most consistent performers in the Premier League. Arsenal are looking to move for Ezri Konsa (right) as well as Morgan Rogers (left) from Aston Villa this summerArsenal and Chelsea sources believe Villa may be willing to talk at around £85million, meanwhile, when it comes to Rogers, but Unai Emery’s club are well aware of the escalating prices for midfielders in the current market.Middlesbrough also hold a 20 per cent sell-on clause, which has to be factored into any bidding. While Villa have qualified for the Champions League, Rogers is understood to be open to listening to what Premier League champions Arsenal have to offer. The Gunners’ midfielder Declan Rice has been working away on Rogers, hoping to help influence his decision, with team-mates Bukayo Saka and Eberechi Eze also in the camp. Rogers is seen as an upgrade by manager Mikel Arteta, who likes the fact he would bring further versatility to their frontline.Arsenal are looking to add around four or five quality signings this summer. How much is David Beckham set to pocket from his World Cup brand deals?
