A man was detained on Thursday after allegedly slipping past security at NBC’s “Today” show studios in New York.TODAY.com reports that the person who was detained “has been identified as Andrew Truelove, who has several pending cases and a criminal history.TMZ reported the man was looking for “Today” anchor Al Roker but when he couldn’t find him reportedly lunged at co-host Craig Melvin and shouted a racial slur before security detained him.No one was injured, and the hosts returned to the air shortly afterward.In a post to his story on Instagram, Melvin wrote, “I’ve heard from so many of you over the last few hours. I’m doing just fine. Thanks for reaching out.
