Police are relying on the public’s help in their search for an “armed and dangerous” suspect in connection to a homicide and house fire in upstate New York.On Friday state police said, “The New York State Police Troop F Bureau of Criminal Investigation is asking residents of the Greenville community to review any available home surveillance footage recorded from approximately 6:00 p.m. on August 6, 2026, through the overnight hours. Anyone who observes suspicious activity is urged to contact the New York State Police immediately.”New York State Police put out an initial alert Friday morning for the public to be on the lookout for Thomas David Ryan, 32, who is wanted in connection to a homicide that happened at a home in Greenville.Police believe that homicide may be connected to a house fire that happened on Thursday on Greenville Turnpike, according to FOX 5 New York.
