Yasmin Le Bon looked like she was still in her catwalk heyday as she strolled through the surf in a black bikini with husband Simon on a break in Sardinia.The former model, 61, and Duran Duran frontman, 67, appeared carefree as they spent a leisurely day on the coast of the Italian island with a group of friends.Yasmin turned back the years in the black string-tied two piece, while Simon was just as stylish in a pair of coral swimming shorts. Sensibly, he kept the sun off with a white baseball cap and a T-shirt draped over his shoulders.The couple then climbed into a small launcher which took them to a yacht waiting offshore.Once aboard, Simon and Yasmin spent time relaxing with their friends before taking a dip in the Mediterranean and sunbathing on the deck.The couple, who got married in 1985, have three grown-up daughters – Amber, 37, Saffron, 34, and 31-year-old Tallulah. Yasmin has previously spoken about how her career on the catwalk had left her in chronic pain and ‘very depressed’. Yasmin and Simon Le Bon take a stroll through the surf in Sardinia They are on a break on the Mediterranean island with a group of friends Yasmin, 61, looked very much as though she was still in her catwalk heyday Simon kept off the sun with a white baseball cap and T-shirt draped over his shouldersYasmin was just 17 when she was spotted by a model scout and went on to sign with Models one Agency in London after leaving school.Over the course of her career she became the face of Versace, Chanel and Dior and graced the covers of Vogue, Cosmopolitan and Harper’s Bazaar to name a few.Reflecting on her years in the industry, Yasmin explained the profession has led to her suffering crippling back pain for many years.Speaking in an interview with Hello! magazine, she confessed she has ‘paid the price’ physically.The star explained: ‘I’ve had times in my life where it has become really, very depressing when I couldn’t walk without pain, couldn’t do anything and it’s really hard.’She added: ‘I feel for anybody who’s had back pain or is going through it.’I think it’s a mental thing as well, getting through the fact that maybe you’re going to have to live with a certain amount of pain.
