Triple M host Justin ‘JB’ Bell has been pulled off air after being charged with multiple offences, including sexual assault. The radio star, who fronts the Tammy and JB breakfast show on 99.5 Triple M Cairns, was charged after an incident at a licensed venue in Smithfield, Queensland on August 21. It’s understood a 21st birthday party was underway at the time. The 34-year-old is accused of inappropriately touching a woman inside the venue, before assaulting two men during a confrontation outside. A Queensland Police spokesperson indicated that the complaints were not made at the time, but were instead reported to police in the days that followed.The spokesperson confirmed that a 34-year-old Kewarra Beach man was charged with sexual assault, assault occasioning bodily harm and common assault on October 3.
