Soap legend arrested for DUI for THIRD time in 16 years

Longtime soap opera star Colleen Zenk was arrested last month in Naples, Florida on a pair of misdemeanor DUI charges, marking her third drunk driving arrest in 16 years.The actress, 73, was taken into custody May 15 in Naples, Florida in connection with charges of DUI causing damage to property or another person; and DUI with a blood alcohol level of 0.15 or higher, according to records from the Collier County Sheriff’s Office reviewed by the Daily Mail.Zenk, best known for her stints on The Young and the Restless and As the World Turns, was seen smiling in a mug shot taken after she was arrested. She bonded out of custody on May 16, according to authorities. The Daily Mail has reached out to a representative for Zenk for further comment on the story.In the May 15 incident, police said that a witness saw Zenk strike another vehicle with her own as she pulled out of a handicap parking spot near a Tommy Bahama location in the 9100 block of Strada Place. The truth will be played out in court.’ Zenk has pleaded not guilty through her lawyer, according to the report, and is slated for a pre-trial hearing of July 29, 2026, according to records reviewed by Soap Opera Digest.Zenk was previously arrested in connection with DUI on two occasions: In May of 2017, she had been charged with first offense DUI in Collier County, Florida, according to records.A prior arrest linked to DUI came in April of 2010 in Wilton, Connecticut when authorities said Zenk had been pulled over after she was seen driving erratically into an oncoming lane, the outlet reported.Zenk made a comeback to the soap scene in late 2023 on The Young and the Restless, marking her return to the genre after As The World Turns went off the air in 2010. Her most recent appearance on The Young and the Restless came in January of 2025.
