Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Dorit Kemsley has denied claims made by her estranged spouse Paul ‘PK’ Kemsley of over-the-top spending that drained him of $1.4 million in three months.
‘I can tell you that what’s been put out there is not entirely accurate,’ Kemsley, 49, said in an interview with Us Weekly Thursday. ‘However, now it’s going to be more headlines, because I have to come back with what the reality is. It’s just a snowball.’
Dorit’s remarks came after the English businessman, 58, claimed in court documents reviewed last month by the Daily Mail that she had continued spending money on expensive items – even as the family home was on the brink of foreclosure.
Dorit, who is promoting a new book titled Unburdened, said it was ‘not necessary’ to continue auditing her spending habits, saying that she was entitled to spend the money she brought in.
‘As far as his opinions on what I spent – whether it’s $50,000, $1 million, $25 – it’s money that I’ve earned,’ the Bravo star said. ‘I’m supporting our children.’
Dorit said that for years, she had asked her estranged spouse to provide clarity on the family finances, as ‘he was making decisions, and there was not a lot of transparency.’

‘I had asked him from pretty much the get-go for us to sit down and to discuss things and work it out together. In marriage, he was taking care of the finances and the bills.’
Upon the pair’s 2024 separation, Dorit said she suggested to PK it was time to ‘have those discussions,’ but they didn’t, which ‘led to a lot of unfortunate circumstances.’
She told the outlet, ‘I think if one person is looking to paint someone in a bad way, or create a false narrative, they’re going to do various things that … don’t work out for anyone.
‘I really hope that we can eventually move away from that and into better times.’
PK said in the court filing last month that the Woodbridge, Connecticut-born TV star didn’t cover mortgage payments, despite having ‘exclusive occupancy of the residence’ for more than two years.
Instead, he said she spent ‘approximately $995,000’ of the family’s finances ‘on high-end designer clothing, handbags, and accessories’ from expensive brands.
PK alleges that Dorit had spent over $1 million in her personal expenses which included high-end retail and wardrobe, travel, glam cost, and other lifestyle expenditures, while also allocating only $339,000 to family-related costs from October 2025 to January 2026.
From October 30, 2025 through January 6, 2026, PK’s attorneys said in the filing, Dorit racked up charges at ‘Louis Vuitton (totaling approximately $69,000), Chanel ($69,000), Hermes ($38,000) and Saint Honore ($22,000).’

Other brands she spent significant funds on included ‘Jenni Kayne, Hermès, Net-A-Porter, FWRD and Moda Operandi,’ PK’s legal team said in its filing.
Dorit, who shares two kids with PK – son Jagger, 12, and daughter Phoenix, 10 – told the outlet that she found that the family finances playing out in the public eye made their already-complicated split ‘more challenging.’
She added, ‘We have two young children, we have to think about. There’s a lot that happens in an acrimonious divorce, unfortunately, that are noteworthy and they’re great headlines.’
Dorit said that she was ‘not aware of’ the details surrounding the mortgage issue, but is on the same page with her estranged spouse.
‘Where we are now, I mean, I’m hoping that we both have the same goal,’ she said. ‘If PK and I are not together, it makes sense for us to sell the home and for the kids and I to move somewhere else.
‘I just think that everything works out a lot smoother and a lot easier when two people can do it together.’
While on the promotional trail for her new book, Dorit also spoke with Page Six, saying she hoped that the book would ‘help remind [PK], really, of who him and I were, who we are, the love that we shared, the bond.’
She said she hoped PK can ‘let go of the resentments, the anger, the hurt’ as the focus should be squarely on their two kids.

‘Really, at the end of the day, none of it matters,’ Dorit said. ‘And there’s so much more good that can come from being able to be friends and effectively co–parent our children.
‘So I really hope it’ll remind him of the good, because it feels like he’s stuck in a place where he only thinks negative.’
In previously-filed legal docs, PK’s team cited Dorit’s stint on Real Housewives, claiming that her spending habits are of a personal and not business nature, since Bravo does not require she outfit herself in designer clothing to appear on the series.
PK had professionals conduct an audit of the family finances that uncovered the reality star’s spending habits, providing detailed documentation in court.
The estranged husband said in legal docs that the home has amassed more than $6 million in debt related to the mortgage.
PK – a British talent manager and entrepreneur who has managed Boy George since 2014 – told the court that default notices have been dispersed, opening up the grim possibility of foreclosure, the outlet reported, citing legal documents.
According to the documents, PK said he moved out of the home they shared together which he is looking to sell immediately as he claims it is close to foreclosure. They own a six-bedroom, ten-bathroom, 8,901-square-foot home in Encino, California together.
PK said that he has been working hard to try to explain the urgency of selling the home to Dorit, to no avail.

He said he’s paid about 90 percent of the family’s expenses in the court filing, and that Dorit declined his offer to move into his home to save money and stave off foreclosure.
PK has requested the court order the sale of the property amid concerns the property could lose a significant chunk of value if the home is foreclosed upon.
He said he is also ‘seeking to have a 50 percent custodial timeshare with both children’ in a declaration he filed Thursday.
Alleged text messages between Dorit and PK were also a massive part of court docs as the estranged husband has accused the RHOBH star of involving their children in ‘financial disputes.’
PK said: ‘While I was attempting to address financial issues with [Dorit], she enlisted our [kid] to send text messages to me requesting money for [Dorit’s] personal expenses, including a trip she wanted to take with the children.’
He had submitted an alleged text exchange from last month as he claimed his child Phoenix sent him one that read: ‘Daddy, do you want us to have a fun spring break?’
It is claimed he replied: ‘Yes, puppy of course. But because I know you’re super smart before you try and outsmart your daddy, just bear in mind, the creator is always smarter than the creation.’
His young daughter allegedly replied: ‘Yeah, that really helps with the fun spring break.’

Later on in the conversation PK is claimed to have queried: ‘Why did you ask me if you want to have a good spring break a fun one?’
In the alleged exchange, his daughter said to ‘forget it’ as PK pressed on.
The child eventually allegedly responded: ‘Why can’t you just book us a holiday? Mommy pays for everything?’
‘How do you know who pays for everything my love?,’ PK is claimed to have responded to which the child said: ‘Can you just pay and book us a flight?’
PK allegedly put his foot down as he wrote: ‘Lol I don’t know where you want to go, so I wouldn’t know what to book … it is 1030, you need to go to sleep.’
He is now using the alleged messages to try to prove that Dorit is spending a substantial amount of money on luxury items while ignoring the mortgage of their marital home.
Previous text messages filed as exhibits revealed explosive fights about his new girlfriend, housing, and addiction.
The Daily Mail has acquired court documents which revealed alleged text messages between Dorit and PK who has alleged that his former partner has squandered nearly $1 million on luxury goods.
Meanwhile the divorce has been getting even uglier as text messages filed as exhibits revealed explosive fights about his new girlfriend, housing, and addiction (the former couple are seen April 2023)
In alleged text messages from the divorce proceeding files dated on April 1, 2026 Dorit wrote: ‘I don’t care that you have your girlfriend here. Haha she knows you have two children and an ex ex-wife. It’s OK I’m sure she can handle you being an adult and speaking to me even when she’s there.
‘You have to start being able to live an honest life. I thought you were finally ready to?’
PK replied: ‘I have zero issue with speaking to you, zero issue with you knowing about Tatiana.
‘She’s a grown-up your age she has grown-up children. She’s a very successful worldly woman who, of course, respects and would like for open, honest relations.’
Daily Mail has reached out to Dorit and PK’s representatives for comment and have yet to hear back.
PK has been dating London-based creative executive Tatiana Kharchylava – who bears quite the resemblance to Dorit – casually over the last few months.
The following day, there were alleged text messages filed in court sent on April 2, 2026 where Dorit called PK an ‘addict’ who ‘doesn’t know how to learn from their mistakes.’
The alleged text messages read: ‘At least you’re consistent in proving a leopard doesn’t change its spots.

‘My goodwill towards you has officially run out. Please, don’t come to me again asking for sympathy, support or protection.’
Then days later Dorit allegedly sent several more messages according to court exhibits including one which read: ‘The kids are aware of your relationship. I need you to be far more thoughtful in how you engage with them.
‘When you and I communicate calmly, you’re capable of making sound decisions. That same care is often missing when it comes to the children, and the difference is not subtle.’
Other alleged text messages showed the former couple clashing over housing as it is claimed that Dorit told PK ‘over my f***ing dead body’ after his proposal that she move into his current home along with their two children.

Dorit filed for divorce from PK on April 25, 2025, telling the court they had ‘irreconcilable differences.’
PK told the Daily Mail last year that he and Dorit had been focused on ‘navigating co-parenting’ their two kids amid their split.
The filing came less than a year after the former couple issued a joint statement on Instagram declaring they were putting an end to their marriage after more than nine years.
‘We have had our struggles over the last few years and continue to work through them as two people who love each other and share two amazing children together,’ they said on the social media site.
The statement continued: ‘We have made the mutual and difficult decision to take some time apart and reevaluate our relationship while we prioritize our children.’
