Molly-Mae Hague says she’s battling ‘mum guilt’ as she defends leaving baby son Midas overnight for business trip

Molly-Mae Hague has opened up about suffering ‘mum guilt’ when she has to leave her baby son Midas and daughter Bambi overnight for work.The influencer, 27, revealed she was feeling bad after leaving her family for a night, two weeks in a row, but insisted it makes her a ‘better mother’ in the long run.Molly-Mae opened up about the chaos of managing her business, travel commitments and two children while away in Germany for a meeting with Adidas.The Maebe founder shares her two children, Bambi, three, and Midas, four months, with her partner Tommy Fury. Speaking on her new vlog, Molly-Mae said: ‘These trips and when I’m going away, like obviously I’ve got a baby at home, like he’s 15 weeks now…’So like he’s not super super baby anymore, but I really really can’t really be going away for any longer than a night.’ Molly-Mae Hague has opened up about suffering ‘mum guilt’ when she has to leave her baby son Midas and daughter Bambi overnight for work. The Maebe founder shares her two children, Bambi, three, and Midas, four months, with her partner Tommy Fury (pictured with daughter Bambi and her fiance Tommy Fury)Molly-Mae said she finds it hard leaving even for the night, adding: ‘Even that, like to be honest with you, I did do feel a bit guilty because obviously I was in London last week for one night and now this week I’m in Germany for one night.’ She continued: ‘I haven’t done two consecutive weeks of being away for a night and I know it’s only one night but I just I’ve just been a bit like that’s why I was on the phone to Zoe and my mum earlier…’Because they were at the house today with Tommy and they were spending time with Bambi and they were like well how much detail do you want.’I was like I want every single detail like every single thing that came out of Bambi’s mouth tell me every single thing.’ But the former Love Island star said that she does think that working ultimately helps her mental health and perform better when she is with her kids. She said: ‘I’ve said this to you guys before about mum guilt with workload and all of this stuff and I have always managed it quite well because I feel like guilt I feel guilty for saying that sometimes I don’t always feel guilty because my work puts my mental state in a place where I can be a better mum.’ The influencer, 27, revealed she was feeling bad after leaving her family for a night, two weeks in a row, but insisted it makes her a ‘better mother’ in the long run (pictured with Midas)’Like if I didn’t work, if I didn’t show up at work, if I didn’t sometimes leave the children to go to work, I wouldn’t be as good as mum as I could. ‘I am because I go to work, if that makes sense. And I just I really value the time I get to work and to chase my dreams and to also create a better future for them and to give, you know, my family everything I want to give them.’During her vlog, Molly-Mae revealed she had paid for her family to stay at Estelle Manor for the weekend to celebrate her mother’s 60th birthday.Molly-Mae made sure no expense was spared as she treated her mum Debbie Gordon to the Oxfordshire getaway.Staying at Bluebell House, the largest private house available to stay in, prices start at £6,750 per night for a minimum two-night stay.Taking to Instagram to show a glimpse at the stunning weekend away, Molly shared a snap of the impressive patio doors of the house as she penned: ‘Feels like the height of summer again.
