Every time I was at home and I was, you know, five, six years old, my parents were like, “You had your baby dolls. They were all adopted”. I never had any of them myself. And I never pretended I was pregnant.’And she clarified that she intends to carry a biological child someday, adding, ‘It’s not because I don’t want that. Hopefully one day that’s in my future.’The actress noted that her previous schooling informed her family planning as she shared, ‘I loved the aspect of adoption in my social work courses… ‘So meaningful and important. And then I also learned about being a birth mother and what that journey is.’Brown stated: ‘So for me, my husband and I took a lot of time to focus on what that story and what that journey looks like. And then we embarked [on] it.’Brown and Bongiovi first started dating in 2021 and announced their engagement in April 2023. The couple tied the knot in May 2024 in the US before a second lavish ceremony in Italy in September, where they said ‘I do’ at Villa Cetinale in Tuscany.
