You have to imagine, everywhere I went, there were people… I was still in New York and still going back and forth. ‘The way I can describe it, I felt like I was walking around with a scarlet letter and everywhere I went, because New York seems like a big city, but it’s really small, especially where I live, which was like the Upper East side. ‘It was just the way that people would look at me and I was on the cover of every magazine and there were news stories about it. It was awful. ‘I don’t ever want to be a complainer or a moaner. I have nothing to complain about. I was the one who caused it so it’s almost like I deserved it. ‘It doesn’t define me but it did for a while.’Giovanna said: ‘I think this is why you were getting emotional. I think you thought people were thinking of you a certain way…”Definitely,’ she said. ‘And I don’t blame them.
