Lainey Wilson detailed her final phone call with the late Dolly Parton as she paid tribute to the country music icon following her death at age 80.Taking to Instagram on Thursday, the Grammy-winner, 34, posted photos of herself and Parton through the years, including shots of them performing together as well as in the music studio.’My Dolly. I felt like you were my friend before we even met.. you made everybody feel that way,’ she began in the post’s caption.When they did ‘[become] friends,’ Wilson said that she and Parton always had ‘a lot to talk about.’ Wilson revealed that she had spoken to just Parton ‘weeks’ before her shock passing, which came Tuesday following a private cancer battle.’I sure am glad you called a couple of weeks ago,’ Wilson wrote.
