Katherine Ryan has revealed she had to cancel a facelift with Kris Jenner’s surgeon as his prices rose by more than £100,000 following the high-profile procedure.

Instead, the comedian, 42, had her facelift in the UK – just two months after she gave birth to her fourth child Holland, which resulted in her husband refusing to speak to her.

After showing off the results, Katherine has now shared how she first had a consultation with Jenner’s surgeon before the matriarch’s procedure.

Last May, Kris set social media users in a frenzy with her youthful looks during daughter Kim’s high-profile court appearance tied to her armed robbery case ahead of her 70th birthday.

Speaking to Olivia Attwood on her Olivia’s House podcast, Katherine said: ‘When I first had my consult with him, he had not yet done Kris Jenner but I suspected he had done some of these other Hollywood girls.

‘So, it was $174,000. And I was like hmm but, in a way at least, you know you’re going to the best.

‘I called up my financial adviser. I was like, “How’s the pound doing against the dollar right now?” Do you know, I was like, “How can I get a tax relief?”‘

When Kris revealed Steven Levine had performed her face lift, Katherine said she rang the clinic back up, and the prices had skyrocketed.

She explained: ‘I rang back his assistant. I was like Courtney I need to get in. And she was like “oh he is $250k now or something”. And then now it’s over $300k.’

Katherine then enlisted the help of a UK-based doctor for her procedure, which was a fraction of the cost, admitting she paid between £22,000 to £23,000.

She continued to Olivia: ‘He is amazing and really affordable I think. I mean, it’s still going to be expensive, but he’s so ethical.

‘I just had my follow-up, my three-month chat with him the other day, and I said to him, “You should put your prices up because like I know someone in London who got it done, and they’ve got terrible cellulitis from this guy who’s now charging like £110,000 or £120,000 or something”.’

Before Katherine went under the knife, she said her husband Bobby Kootstra wouldn’t speak to her before she left their home for York.

‘Bobby was an ass, he didn’t speak to me the night that I left for York. It was me loading the car seat and the baby and my bag.

‘They [men] think they know what plastic surgery looks like and actually they have no idea. They think it’s like Jocelyn Wildenstein or something.’

Praising the results, Katherine beamed as she said: ‘I just think my facelift is so beautiful. It’s gorgeous. It’s achieved exactly what I wanted.’

Last October ‘Momager’ Kris discussed her surgeon and revealed a ‘password’ the pair created for prospective patients.

‘He didn’t want the attention, which I loved,’ she said on the Not Skinny But Not Fat podcast. ‘I said, “But do I have your permission to say who you are?”

‘And he goes, “Listen, I’ll tell you what. As long as we can come up with a password so that if somebody calls and says, I’m Kris Jenner’s best friend, and can I have a consultation? They have to say the secret password.”’

The reality star explained that the surgeon has received countless calls since her procedure, some from people claiming to be friends.

However, this week it emerged she is reportedly far from thrilled with the results almost a year on from the surgery.

She is said to be eying up ‘revision’ as she compares her results with other celebrity transformations.

‘Kris Jenner’s facelift is already slipping. She is not happy with the results and is desperate to get a revision – she feels it has not held the way she expected,’ a source told RadarOnline on Thursday.

They continued: ‘Kris is mad as hell that Denise Richards and Lori Loughlin both look so good, and she feels hers is already fading in comparison.’
