Jordan North is reportedly set for a £1million legal dispute with his former management after he quit to join a rival company. The Capital Breakfast host, 36, has recently switched management from Insanity to CAA – who represent huge stars including Harry Styles and Beyonce. However after supporting Jordan through his career from his Radio 1 days to his job at Capital, Insanity are said to be taking legal action against the star, claiming he owes them a seven figure sum. A source revealed: ‘Jordan’s decision to leave Insanity for CAA has caused ructions. They really helped steer his career and got him the I’m A Celebrity gig back in 2020, but he felt ready to move on.’While the deal was completed earlier this year, Insanity are now said to believe he has ‘breached some elements of his contract’.The source told The Sun: ‘They’re taking legal action and it’s claimed they think he owes them around £1million. It’s crazy money and it’s become the talk of the industry. He previously worked on Radio 1 for a decade, quitting his show back in February 2024 in a shock exit after he was offered to replace Roman Kemp’s position at Capital.And in the following November Jordan appeared to take a swipe at his former radio station as he boasted about the listening figures for his Capital Breakfast show.Hinting at a feud with his BBC Radio 1 bosses as he shouted: ‘We are beating Radio 1’ during his appearance on Saturday Kitchen.Jordan explained listening figures have increased since he took over the show in April.He then added that they have a greater number of 15-24-year-olds listening to their breakfast show in comparison to Radio 1.He told host Matt Tebbutt: ‘Since we started in April the figures are up so we are doing alright.’Matt then added: ‘So what the listenership is three million,’ as Jordan added: ‘Yeah it’s nearly half a million that we have added on.”We are beating Radio 1 on younger audiences as well,’ he added as Sian let out a cheer.
