Joanne McNally has a very heated exchange with Miranda Hart over her ‘bouncing floor’ theory in Celebrity Traitors. The latest episode of the hit BBC show saw the cast take on another challenge, where the Faithfuls stood completely blindfolded in a room while the Traitors (Maya Jama and King Kenny) were tasked with quietly sabotaging the game.Traitor James Acaster refused to participate out of fear of being caught, leaving his team frustrated. While blindfolded, Miranda felt the floorboards next to her creak, leading her to believe it was Joanne due to her pre-existing bias against the comedian. After the challenge, the actress enthusiastically shared her physical evidence with James Blunt but soon backtracked after Joanne caught wind of the accusation and reacted furiously. Then at the round table, Miranda announced to the room that her ‘bouncing floor theory’ was officially debunked. Joanne McNally has a very heated exchange with Miranda Hart over her ‘bouncing floor’ theory in Celebrity Traitors During a challenge earlier in the episode, Miranda believed she could hear Joanne on the floor boards trying to sabotage the game She said: ‘On discussion since, I’d like to declare the bouncing floor theory debunked. So apologies if that sounds accusatory in any way.’Michael Sheen asked: ‘Why is it debunked?’Miranda continued: ‘Umm, it could’ve been on the other side of the room, and a floorboard could have been… It doesn’t necessarily mean it’s the people next to me.’Frustrated, Joanne interrupted: ‘Well, obviously you’ve said it now. So Miranda said that she thought I was moving around the floor. And I was just like, ‘That’s not true.”It’s so not true that then I was suspicious of Miranda because I was like, that just feels like such a set-up.’Because I had such a heavy table last night, and then you’re, I just said that just makes me not trust you. It’s the truth.’Miranda replied: ‘I get that you would think that, yeah.’Joanne fumed: ‘So I was just… Of all the people, you would say I was the one moving round the floor seems a bit mad when I literally didn’t move.’ Then at the round table, Miranda announced to the room that her ‘bouncing floor theory’ was officially debunked and she no longe thought it was Joanne Joanne snapped: ‘So I was just… Of all the people, you would say I was the one moving round the floor seems a bit mad when I literally didn’t move’ Following the heated exchange, fans accused Joanna of being a ‘mean girl’ as they took to X to share their thoughts’Hence me saying I’d debunked the theory.’ Miranda replied before Joanne pushed back: ‘You’ve just brought in a debunked theory and brought it to the floor again.”I’m saying debunked,’ Miranda snapped.Following the heated exchange, fans accused Joanne of being a ‘mean girl’ as they took to X to share their thoughts. They penned: ‘Why was joanne lowkey bullying miranda she got so scared towards the end it was odd seeing her like that,”Do not like the way Joanne spoke to Miranda wt the round table.. it’s a game, it doesn’t need to get nasty ESPECIALLY to Miranda,”Why is joanne being so passive aggressive omg miranda get behind me,”Joanne sayings its madness if Miranda brings up The moving floorboard at the round table, like she didn’t suspect Leigh Anne for using lipgloss and gets it wrong every round table,”Why is Joanne being so aggressive towards Miranda. Just because she accused her. That’s the point of the game omg,”The way Miranda and Sharon were the ‘nerdy’ girls and Joanne was the ´mean’ girl was like they had reverted back to school days!!’ Elsewhere in the episode, Jerry was banished after the Round Table turned on her at the last minuteElsewhere in the episode, Jerry was banished after the Round Table turned on her at the last minute. However, many viewers have claimed that the rest of the cast didn’t actually think she was a Traitor but just a ‘chaotic’ and ‘bad’ Faithful. They penned on X: ‘Yeah they definitely voted Jerry Hall not because they think she’s a traitor and more so because she’s a bad faithful #CelebrityTraitors.’,’Michael saying they need to keep the good faithfuls in so everyone would vote Jerry.’,’it’s smart to get rid of a useless faithful if you have zero clue who a traitor.’Celebrity Traitors continues on Friday night on BBC1 at 8pm.The Celebrity Traitors line-up 2026 Jerry Hall Jerry Hall, 70, rose to fame in the Seventies and became one of the era’s most recognisable fashion icons Richard E Grant Richard E Grant, 69, is celebrated for his roles in everything from the cult classic Withnail & I to modern flicks such as Everybody’s Talking About Jamie James Blunt James Blunt, 52, shot to global fame with his debut album and the hit single You’re Beautiful Ross Kemp Ross Kemp, 62, who recently returned to EastEnders to reprise his role as hardman Grant Mitchell, is said to want to challenge himself Michael Sheen Michael Sheen, 57, is celebrated for his incredible performances across stage and screen, particularly his work in Good Omens and The Queen Rob Beckett Best friend of fellow Traitors star Ranganathan, comedian Rob Beckett, 40, is known for his high energy and booming laugh Sharon Rooney Sharon Rooney, 37, is best known for her breakout role as Rae Earl in the acclaimed series My Mad Fat Diary Joanne McNally Joanne McNally, 43, is known for her brutally honest humour and hilarious takes on dating, chaos and modern life Amol Rajan Journalist and broadcaster Amol Rajan, 43, has carved out a successful career across major UK media, including radio and television King Kenny King Kenny, 29, is a content creator known for his prank videos and street-style social experiments Sebastian Croft Sebastian Croft, 24, is best known for his breakout role as Ben Hope in the Netflix series Heartstopper Maya Jama Maya Jama, 32, is quickly becoming one of the UK’s most popular stars and famously fronts Love Island Miranda Hart Miranda Hart, 53, broke through with her hit sitcom Miranda, which became a resounding success and cemented her as a comedy legendRomesh Ranganathan Romesh Ranganathan, 48, has been taking British TV by storm in recent years is known for his deadpan delivery James Acaster Comedian James Acaster, 41, is good friends with Ed Gamble, who hosts The Traitors: Uncloaked.
