He was dubbed the ‘greatest rapper of all time’ by Billboard and Vibe in 2023, with a career spanning three decades.Yet Jay-Z is only just being discovered by Gen Z as his hit track Tom Ford resurges on TikTok, gaining a whole new audience.The Brooklyn-born rapper, worth $2.8billion, returned to his roots last month to honour his monumental career with a three-night residency at Yankee Stadium.He is continuing celebrations for the 30th anniversary of his debut album Reasonable Doubt with a two-night tour at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium next month.Jay-Z could see a whole new generation in the audience, thanks to fans on TikTok making his classic hits viral again.Posts which use the song have amassed more than 550,000 likes, 12,000 saves and 16,000 shares.
