With love, Jaime.’Strictly head judge Shirley Ballas commented on the Instagram post, writing: ‘We wish you a speedy recovery. Take care of yourself health first xx.’Judge Motsi Mabuse added: ‘Sending you so much love, darling ?? Your health always comes first. Take the time you need to rest, recover and get your strength back. We’ll miss you this week, but what matters most is that you feel better. Wishing you a speedy recovery and sending you the biggest hug!’Contestant Delta Goodrem, who was forced to pull out of a live show earlier this series, offered words of support too, telling Jaime: ‘Ahhhh sending all the healing energy beautiful Jaime the same way you gave me so much love and support!!!! Heal and rest, get better ????? We come back fighting!! xxx.’Jaime and Carlos found themselves in another dance off during last Saturday’s Strictly Halloween special. The couple competed against Bethany Antonia and Nancy Xu and Lawrence Robb and Jowita Przystal in the show’s first-ever three-couple dance-off.Emmerdale actor Lawrence was voted off the show. Last week Jaime admitted her famous dad, the actor Ray Winstone, has been a shoulder to lean on after her confidence was shaken by the repeated dance offs. Jaime said it was tough to realise she isn’t winning the public vote despite receiving strong scores from the judges and regularly placing around the middle of the leaderboard. Jaime said in a statement on Wednesday: ‘I am absolutely devastated not to be dancing this weekend due to a torn abdominal muscle”I’m showing signs of vulnerability that I didn’t have on my bingo list this year,’ she confessed. ‘The judges are giving us notes, and we’re taking them on board. For me, it’s like a director. You just want good feedback.”It’s strange when you’re still getting kind of good marks, you start thinking maybe the public just doesn’t like me.’But at the end of the day, my dad’s like: “You’re doing this for yourself… to show another side of you”. ‘You can’t be everybody’s cup of tea, but you can be someone’s shot of whiskey.” She added that her pro partner Carlos has also been a pillar of support. ‘We are relying on so many people, like the physios, to keep us in real top-notch condition, so we can go out there and do it,’ she told The Express.’And Carlos is my full-time therapist,’ she quipped. ‘No, but he’s just so supportive. They’re [dancers] true artists. I’m so in awe of them, and I think my dad, as an actor, is also [in awe].’You know we’re all artists in different types of the industry, and it’s just a mutual level of respect. Like it’s just through the roof.’It’s no joke… We are working round the clock, and trying to perfect something that it’s impossible to perfect something in five days. So you’ve got to just kind of allow yourself to just go out there, entertain, and get a grip on your nerves. Jaime and Carlos found themselves in another dance off during last Saturday’s Strictly Halloween special’And that’s quite hard as an actor…because you wanna perfect certain performances. I’ve just got to remember I love dancing and you know hopefully that’s what I’m gonna shine at doing,’ she said, sitting beside Carlos.Jaime isn’t the first star this series to pull out of a live show.Last month Delta Goodrem was forced to miss one show after she suffered a rib injury.Insiders revealed that Delta injured herself during training but managed to perform her Salsa, which involved some complicated lifts, on the next live show, where she topped the leaderboard. Hours after performing, Delta was taken to A&E after she struggled to sleep through the pain.
