A video of Hannah Waddingham tending to Tom Cruise’s hair at the Digger premiere has gone viral this week after fans joked she was treating the Hollywood megastar ‘as if he’s Ted Lasso’. Hannah gained stardom playing Rebecca Welton in the Apple TV+ series, the no-nonsense owner of AFC Richmond who develops an unexpected soft spot for wholesome football coach Ted Lasso (Jason Sudeikis). And fans were left in hysterics at a video of Hannah greeting Tom on the red carpet after she strode over to him and immediately started fixing his hair, just as Rebecca would do to Ted.  Tom, 64, had dyed his brunette locks a vibrant red for the occasion and looked perplexed as Hannah, 52, set about styling him. The acclaimed actress was among a string of names supporting Tom at the premiere of his daring new film, which sees him wear a bodysuit and prosthetics to age him for his role as an oil tycoon and billionaire who sets off a global ecological crisis.
