How can you expect us to trust that it’s “not all men” when in moments like this, many of you stay quiet?’  Appearing on The View on Wednesday, Florence was asked why she was speaking out about the case.’I’m a woman, and this affects all women, women I know, women I don’t know,’ she explained. ‘The fear of rape lives in our bodies and when stories like this come out and they’re not picked up in the way they should be picked up, it makes me feel scared, it makes me feel anxious, it makes me feel so much rage and I am lucky enough to do what I do, and I have a platform and I want to talk about it.’She added her thanks to the show presenters for asking her about it, pointing out that ‘it’s an ongoing conversation and it will always be an ongoing conversation until we are harder on those that do that to women’.
