Fifi, Fev and Nick radio host expecting third child: ‘Our own footy team!’

Fox FM presenter Nick Cody delighted his co-stars on Wednesday morning, announcing he and his wife Lucia Smyrk were expecting their third child in October.The veteran comedian, 41, confirmed the exciting news live on-air, cheekily revealing he and Lucia were expecting their third son, and they planned to ‘build their own footy team’.’I’ve got a little exciting announcement myself. October this year, we’re having a baby!’ Nick told co-hosts Fifi Box and Brendan Fevola.Nick, who shares sons Charlie and Max with his wife, said his sons were ‘so pumped’ about welcoming their baby brother.Co-hosts Fifi and Fev were quick to offer their congratulations to their co-star.’This is so exciting for you and Luc! We are so happy for you,’ Fifi gushed, while Fevola expressed his amazement at three boys, given he and his wife Alex had four daughters. Yeah, hopefully they don’t play [AFL] like their dad!’Nick has been married to Australian actress Lucia Smyrk since February 2017.She has appeared on Neighbours, Blue Heelers and Wentworth, and has also worked as an assistant director on Miss Fisher’s Murder Mysteries and the Shaun Micallef series The Ex-PM.He joined the Fifi, Fev & Nick show in 2021, replacing Byron Cooke.When the news of Byron’s replacement was revealed, Nick said in a statement he was ‘so pumped to be joining Fifi and Fev’.Back in 2021, Nick and Lucia welcomed their second child.
