Emmerdale’s Daisy Campbell sizzles in a lace bikini after a dip in the sea as she enjoys a boat day on Ibiza getaway

I used to want to stay at school with my friends rather than be on set.Daisy explained that her character was written out when a new producer took charge with the decision leaving the actress ‘upset’ and in a ‘dark hole’. ‘When it’s been ripped away from you, because that’s what it genuinely felt like, it was so out of the blue, you do just get into a bit of a hole of, oh god, like, can I do this?’.Daisy said that despite a brief appearance in Casualty she has struggled to find work, before finally turning her back on acting to open a Pilates studio. I was like “What can I do that’s gonna make me not just want to sit at home all the time?.”‘Daisy will soon use her Emmerdale earnings to open That Pilates Place in Pontefract, and while she has not ruled out a return to acting she said her business was now her main focus. Last year Daisy revealed that bosses admitted that they had run out of storylines for her, after her character’s parents previously left the dales leaving her all alone. She admitted she had been struggling filming her final scenes after ITV bosses called her in to tell her about her exit.She told The Mirror: ‘It wasn’t my choice to leave Emmerdale and it was a shock at first. ‘Being in Emmerdale is all I have ever known. I’ve spent the whole of my childhood growing up in the soap and it felt daunting.’After finding out about her exit, Daisy revealed to the publication that she only told three of her closest friends and co-stars.She explained how co-stars Rosie Bentham, Katie Hill and Jack Downham were left utterly devastated by the news but had been supporting her behind the scenes. Daisy said: ‘They were upset for me but so supportive. I didn’t tell the rest of the cast my news initially as I wanted the time to process everything. ‘I needed time to grieve the part of Amelia’.
