Emilia Fox has said that she is finally open to finding love on dating apps again after splitting from her ex Jonathan Stadlen.The Silent Witness star, 52, revealed in January that she had secretly separated from her partner of four years in 2025.Now, nearly two years on, the actress opened up in a new interview about embracing single life and being ready to get back into the dating pool. Emilia, who shares her 15-year-old daughter Rose with her former partner and actor Jeremy Gilley, said she’s open to using dating apps but admitted she hasn’t used them in the past few years.The actress told Hello!: ‘I’ve been preoccupied with all the other things in life, so I’ve neglected that side of my life a bit, but that hasn’t been at the cost of my happiness. ‘I wanted to process the last relationship I was in, which was a meaningful relationship. She shares her 15-year-old daughter Rose with actor and filmmaker Jeremy Gilley, whom she split from when their daughter was two. Emilia has admitted that she has a history of throwing herself into work to cope with any personal life disruption, explaining: ‘In my 20s, I went from relationship to work to relationship to work, and didn’t have time for myself.”I’m not complaining about it. I had a great time. But this bit of life has turned out differently, and that’s OK.’On her most recent split, she continued to The Telegraph: ‘I put my heart and soul into things and want them to work, but I accept that not everything can work. Life is ever-changing, and making peace with that is a good feeling.’Speaking to the Daily Mail Weekend magazine in January, Emilia admitted that it has ‘been a year of change. At the beginning of 2025 we separated.
