Ellie Goulding is suing her former managers amid claims a conflict of interest may have left her out of pocket.The singer, 39, alleges Ben Mawson and Ed Millett may have failed to secure the most lucrative touring, merchandise and film deals available to her.Her case is that the pair faced conflicting obligations which restricted their ability to recommend rival companies.Mawson and Millett, co-founders of TaP Management, represented Ms Goulding from 2018 until 2025 and took a 20 per cent commission, according to the claim.During that time, she signed agreements covering touring, merchandise and a documentary film with companies in the Live Nation group.Ms Goulding claims she was not told that TaP’s parent company, HNOE, had first become partially and later entirely owned by Live Nation. I think that I might be falling in love with you.’And later, ‘No I don’t usually trust guys like you/ But right now I don’t care.’The lyrics are likely to raise eyebrows after The Mail on Sunday’s exclusive revelation that Minniear, 29, has a criminal record.The Utah-born actor, who has appeared in a string of independent films, theatre productions and commercials, was arrested in Palm Beach, Florida, in 2018.The incident led to him being charged with three offences: robbery without a firearm, felony battery resulting in a serious bodily injury, and marijuana possession.According to documents filed by the West Palm Beach Police Department, Minniear and two other young men were taken into custody after an altercation on a street at around 2.30am.A 36-year-old man claimed to have been kicked and punched multiple times by a group of attackers while lying on the ground, leaving him with a fractured elbow and a bleeding nose.He claimed that they also ripped off his trousers and stole his wallet, which was found in the possession of one of the men Minniear was with when they were arrested.
