Elizabeth Hurley is accompanied by dapper son Damian as she hosts her annual Breast Cancer Research Foundation Hot Pink Party

Elizabeth Hurley was the picture of elegance on Tuesday night as she was joined by her dapper son Damian at her annual Breast Cancer Research Foundation Hot Pink Party.

The model and actress, 60, has proudly been an ambassador for The Estée Lauder Companies’ Breast Cancer Campaign since 1996.

And in her role as hostess, Elizabeth ensured she wowed in a ruffled baby pink gown as she struck a pose on the pink carpet at the bash in New York City.

The fitted lace number highlighted her enviable figure and featured sheer puff sleeves and floral accents, with Elizabeth elevating her look with sparkling diamond jewellery.

Meanwhile, her model son Damian, 24, also dressed to impress on the night, opting for a black suede blazer with a silver wings design which he teamed with a crisp white shirt, black leather trousers and a bow tie.

Elizabeth was also seen posing alongside William P. Lauder, 66, son of late founder Evelyn H. Lauder, who is also the executive chairman of Estee Lauder.

William and Elizabeth were also seen beaming as they posed with the staff of Delta Airlines while clutching a cheque for $3million from the airline.

Breast Cancer Research Foundation co-founder Dr. Larry Norton and the company’s president and CEO Donna McKay then joined the pair for a snap at the charity event, which raised vital funds for life saving breast cancer research.

The star-studded party also attracted the likes of Vera Wang, David Furnish, Ashanti and Neil Patrick Harris, who donned their finest pink ensemble to pose for snaps before enjoying the evening’s festivities.

The Breast Cancer Research Foundation ‘is the largest private funder of breast cancer research in the world,’ per the official website.

The foundation also helps, ‘invest in the best minds in science – and foster cross-disciplinary collaboration – to examine every aspect of the disease from prevention to metastasis.’

During an interview with WWD in 2024, William discussed the Breast Cancer Research Foundation.

‘My mother’s vision 30 years ago with Dr. Larry Norton was to create an effort and foundation to raise awareness and funds to find a cure for breast cancer,’ the businessman stated.

‘The work that has been done over the last 30 years has resulted in tremendous success in terms of treatment and care and survivability.’

Lauder continued, ‘Many people wouldn’t be here if it weren’t for that vision, and I’m honored to carry on the passion that my mother had for this mission.’

The foundation has raised around $1billion since its launch, and while the mortality rates of those with a breast cancer diagnosis have gone down, he discussed how women are still being diagnosed with the illness.

‘Unfortunately there are still people being diagnosed with breast cancer and who are being impacted by it, and therefore there’s still a great reason and rationale for us to keep focusing on it.’

‘The combination of more people being diagnosed, as well as making progress toward finding a cure and reducing the impact of the treatments for people who are diagnosed, gives us all hope, as well as motivation,’ William added.
