Dannii Minogue has paid an emotional tribute to Australian television pioneer Johnny Young following his death at the age of 79.The Young Talent Time host and producer died after a brief battle with pancreatic cancer, his family confirmed in a statement on Friday.Minogue, 54, shared a series of nostalgic photographs and clips from her time on the beloved variety show as she reflected on the man who helped launch her career.’Johnny Young holds a place in so many hearts, and today my heart is broken,’ she wrote on Instagram.The singer was just eight years old when she joined the Young Talent Time cast, becoming a familiar face to millions of Australian viewers throughout the 1980s.Minogue credited Young with giving her the opportunity that set her on the path to a decades-long career in entertainment.
