Celebrity Gogglebox star Vernon Kay was reduced to tears after hearing the story of a young pianist who lost her fingers and legs to meningitis when she was four.Grace Matthews, 19, appeared on Claudia Winkleman’s Channel 4 show The Piano after her application for the hit show was endorsed by a music therapist at Addenbrooke’s Hospital where she was treated.Vernon and his Celebrity Gogglebox co-stars couldn’t contain their emotions as they watched Grace’s remarkable performance.He said: ‘Go on Grace, jeez’, before breaking down in tears. Jonathan Ross and his daughter Honey, 29, were incredibly moved by Grace’s performance. ‘Oh my god, I feel so emotional’, Honey said. Reflecting on the performance, Ellie Simmonds explained: ‘What people perceive to be how it has to be, it can be done so differently. She is breaking down barriers.’Jake Shears added: ‘It’s getting me all teary’.His sofa co-star Josh Homme continued: ‘This is where you’re like, the world is full of magic.
