Armie Hammer’s ex-wife Elizabeth Chambers vows to never marry again following actor’s ‘cannibal’ scandal

Armie Hammer’s ex-wife Elizabeth Chambers has sworn off getting married again. The Dash podcast host, 44, separated from the actor, 40, in 2020 after 10 years of marriage, but it took three years for their divorce to be finalized.Asked whether she’d tie the knot once more, she told Us Weekly: ‘Absolutely not. I spent years getting unmarried. Why would I [get married] again?’Hammer had been accused in 2021 of ‘violently raping’ a former girlfriend in 2017 – when he was married – while multiple other women, including model Paige Lorenze, accused him of sexual and emotional and psychological abuse, which he has denied.Around the same time, text messages allegedly sent by him were leaked by his ex-girlfriend Efrosina Angelova, and they revealed stomach-churning fantasies revolving around cannibalism. While the Los Angeles District Attorney’s Office revealed in 2023 that Hammer was under investigation, the case was eventually closed after the district attorney determined there wasn’t enough evidence to charge the Call Me By Your Name star.  Elizabeth Chambers, 44, has sworn off marriage after her divorce from Armie Hammer, 40, following his ‘cannibal’ scandal; The two pictured in 2019 ‘I spent years getting unmarried. I have the most amazing kids. I have the most amazing family. I have the most [amazing] everything,”’ Chambers recalled.‘It was so precious that when you put things on such a pedestal, it’s so fragile, right? Like, in a weird way, at any point I can’t make a decision as to how this goes all on my own, and so that’s the beauty of marriage in a lot of ways because it is so precious, and it has to be protected.’Chambers began dating boyfriend Ricardas Kazinec, a wellness therapist, in September 2022.She has even credited him for helping her make the transition from Grand Cayman to Los Angeles in September 2024 with her kids – after living in the Cayman Islands since early 2020.Chambers explained why she has been put off walking down the aisle again.‘I just don’t know that I would ever trust anyone to protect my heart like that again. And that’s just like me in a therapy session right now,’ she admitted.
