Amanda Holden has shared a look at her £7million ‘dream’ home after transforming the Surrey mansion in the three years since she moved in.The TV and radio star, 55, moved from south London with her producer husband Chris Hughes and their two daughters Lexi, 20, and Hollie, 14, in 2023.The interior-design fan has been hard at work on the renovations and has proudly shared a glimpse of the incredible results in a new video.Amanda, who hosts a hugely popular property renovation travel series with best pal Alan Carr, was inspired by the sun-soaked town of Palm Beach in Florida for much of her interiors.The new video, which promotes Amanda’s DFS sofa collection, sees the star dancing through her mansion to the tune of Sabrina Carpenter’s House Tour.Opening the door, she leads fans through the vast hallway, which features a black and white diamond floor and peach walls, with Amanda revealing she was inspired by the interiors of RuPaul. She shares a quick glimpse of the grand piano before heading up the staircase which she has decorated with photos of her family and friends. Jumping onto a chic cream sofa, Amanda reveals her living room has a more neutral aesthetic in contrast with the rest of the home.She then moves into her party room which features a sprawling home bar, a velvet blue sofa and retro racy artwork on the walls.She has added pops of colour with a fluffy pink footstool and armchairs festooned with ‘disco nap’ cushions. During her renovation of the property in 2024, Amanda gushed to the Daily Mail that ‘this is my dream home. My entire life I have wanted the dream home, and you know you do the stepping up and now I’ve finally got it.”I definitely feel settled… I’m obsessed with interior design and I said to my husband, “Don’t worry, this is the house for life and it will take me a couple of years to do it up” but I think the whole house will be done by June and we only moved in November so I’m already looking for another project… he’ll go mental!”It was the perfect house, and most people would have probably moved in and kept it the same, but it was a very pale, white and grey house and it’s not like that anymore. It was the worst possible time to buy and sell a house, which is awful and there’s stamp duty and you ask yourself, “What am I doing?” But it was worth it in the end.’
